Total is 7.8 pounds, in 8 weeks. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Other than those (and a few lesser) sins, I was pretty good this week - I walked 1-2 miles Friday, Sunday and Monday, and I did my exercises too.... I was supposed to go tonight, but I just couldn't face the grueling mugginess... and I did about 10 minutes of bike/walking tonight, so that's better than nothing...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And I've started making little fitness changes too - doing the whole park far away in the lot thing, and trying to be more willing to walk/take the stairs instead of just sitting there. Stuff like walking the cart all the way back to the front of the store, instead of putting it in one of the little corrals (sp?) they have. So I'm feeling pretty good about that stuff...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now, I'm about to make some more changes, stuff that seems to be holding me back... &lt;br /&gt;** I'm not going to eat after 9 p.m. - this might be incredibly difficult to pull off, but it's these late night cravings for food, food, and more food, that are making me go over points every night. And it's like I eat what I'm craving (usually a big bowl of cereal) and then I'm hungry all over again. So since I cannot satiate myself anyway, I figure why bother, when it's just packing the points on. &lt;br /&gt;** If I eat dessert, I'm only going to eat 1/2 of it - this is also going to be difficult, but these desserts are killing me, and I'm just not ready to say I'm not going to have any desserts at all. And anyways, half a brownie is only 2.5 points, half a cheesecake with fruit is only 5, etc..... I'll get the taste, but still be able to work it into my daily points&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oh, I did break down and buy clothing, although I have only come halfway to my first goal... but I realized this summer that I really have no nice shorts, and I was just sick of it. I found some great shorts at Lane Bryant, on sale for only $15 (and the cutest pair of earrings too, only $2) The shopping trip was somewhat worth it because, well, last time I went to LB, I had actually outgrown some of the 18s, and was having to look at the 20s in some pants. VERY disturbing! This time, however, I was back to a comfortable 18, and some shorts in 16 were looking damn good too (in fact, this one pair was all ghetto-booty-snug, which I was just too timid to buy) So it made me feel like there was measurable progress.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now I think I should get my measurements... that way I can track those as well as my weight, which would give me a more comprehensive look at my progress. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oh, water - I'm on 80 oz., and will hit 96 before I go to sleep.... I find that my days off are difficult to reach my quota, cuz I'm not just sitting at the desk drinking, drinking, drinking.... but today I made a real effort, and hit goal! Mainly cuz I've been sorta anti-computer lately - in fact, I didn't even turn on my home computer at all yesterday, which is truly a miracle. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, here's my points for the past few days...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Friday: 29 points (2 over, which was cuz I broke down and had 5 points of cereal late at night.)&lt;br /&gt;Saturday: 35.5 points (10 of which was cheesecake and strawberries, which I seem incapable of not eating)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today I'm on track, with the following:&lt;br /&gt;English muffin with butter: 3&lt;br /&gt;Turkey sandwich: 4 (2 slices of bread and 2 oz. of Turkey, mustard, tomatoe, mmmmmm)&lt;br /&gt;Pickle relish stuff: 0&lt;br /&gt;Funky olives: 0&lt;br /&gt;Mini-brownie and mini-pecan pie tart thingies: 5 (they were 1" each, and a 2" brownie is 5, so I'm guessing on this one)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So my daily total is 12 points, which leaves 10-15 points left for dinner and evening snack.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Unfortunately, I've been feeling like I've got a tapeworm or something... I'm always hungry, all the time... some have suggested it's cuz i"m on a diet, but I've been on it for two months, and this has only been the past week. I think it has to do with cutting back on sodas (which I've been doing really well on) and also just being depressed. I just get sooooo hungry, especially at night, and I just eat and eat and eat. or at least I want to. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I need to have things like watermelon and stuff around for those moments, but even then, those points add up. I also need to buy bowls that hold 1 cup of cereal without looking ridiculous. The ones I use now easily hold 2 cups, which is a normal amount for me. That way when I get my nightly cereal craving, I could have 2.5 points of cereal and milk instead of 5. That would be a big help.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don't even wanna talk about exercising... I'm supposed to start this &lt;a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/stores/detail/-/books/1582380260/glance/104-6808561-3846309"&gt;8 weeks to a better shape &lt;/a&gt;thing today... but I'm not feeling it, not with this migraine.
